In 2010, the museum was relocated and expanded, and was renamed the "Jianmingtang Folk Custom Museum," officially opening on February 1 of the same year. In September 2014, construction of the new museum began, and on May 18, 2015, the new museum officially opened.
The Jianmingtang Folk Custom Museum is a three-story Hui-style building. The first and second floors serve as exhibition halls for the museum's collection, as well as a resting and service area for visitors. The third floor is dedicated to cultural activities, including cultural heritage appraisal, appreciation, and auction, as well as reception and office areas.
